Lebanese and Moroccan Cooking Classes

Offering great value for money our cooking classes are a treat for you and all your family, friends and work colleagues. The Lebanese and Moroccan classes cover a range of healthy, quick and very tasty traditional meals that are easy to prepare. You will learn how to cook, store and make three or more authentic dishes. Everyone prepares and helps to put together the meal and at the end of each session, we all sit down with a drink to have a well earned lunch. All participants will take home all the recipes and general cooking tips as well as a free gift. We are happy to make special arrangements for organised groups.

Lebanese Dishes for the 13th January, 2018. Full

at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
1. Fatoush, traditional Lebanese salad with pomegranate molasses, toasted bread and sumac.
2. Shawarma, home made Lamb shawarma with spices and tahini sauce.
3. Baklawa, homemade Baklava with layers of filo pastry filled with almonds and walnuts, drizzled with orange blossom syrup.

Lebanese Dishes for the 27th January, 2018. Full

at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
1. Tabouleh, traditional Lebanese salad with parsley, mint, tomatoes and cracked wheat.
2. Baba Ghanouj, smoked aubergine dip with lemon juice and pomegranate seeds.
3. Fakhed Maa Al Riz, aromatic leg of lamb served on a bed of rice, spices and nuts.

Lebanese Dishes for the 10th February, 2018. Full

at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Suitable for vegetarians
1. Hummus, a traditional Lebanese chickpea dip with tahini sauce, lemon juice and garlic.
2. Makloubeh, upside down aubergine and cauliflower rice dish.
3. Ousmailieh, a traditional Lebanese cake with vermicelli, cream and orange blossom syrup.

Moroccan Dishes for the 24th February, 2018.

at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
1. Batinjan Maa Al Rouman, grilled aubergine with pomegranate molasses and feta cheese.
2. Tagine, a Moroccan Lamb tagine with spices and dried fruits.
3. Couscous, steamed couscous with raisins, cinnamon, roasted tomatoes and rose water.

Lebanese Dishes for the 10th March, 2018.

at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
1. Salatit Al Sabanikh, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and artichoke salad.
2. Sayadieh, grilled sea bass served on a bed of aromatic rice and pine nuts.
3. Aysh Al Sarayeh, a traditional Lebanese pudding with pistachio nuts.

Lebanese Dishes for the 24th March, 2018.

at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
1. Rqaqat, halloumi cheese with parsley wrapped in filo pastry and sesame seeds.
2. Kousa Mihshi, stuffed courgette with rice, minced meat and pine nuts cooked in tomato and mint sauce.
3. Sfouf, a traditional semolina and turmeric cake with almonds.
